Mental Fitness corners in 4 locations during #Movember

For the second year in a row, we are partnering with the Emprove Foundation to draw public attention to men’s mental health. In some of the most typically male spaces in the city – gyms, where muscles are built and testosterone smells, we are setting up 4 corners for privacy and an inward look at the soul.

We ask the question “How are you on a scale of 1 to 10?” and expect sincere answers from our customers, because perhaps this simple question is asked too rarely, and care is essential. The resources in the campaign are provided by Talk Club UK – a British charity. The organization’s mission is to create safe spaces where men can openly talk about their feelings and mental health in order to prevent depression and suicide.

For those who answered and left their surveys at the reception, we have prepared a raffle with prizes to encourage sharing and sincerity.

An opportunity for clients to relax, ventilate the stress of a busy day or simply take a breather during a busy workout – these areas near the reception of the Knyazhevo, Druzhba, The Mall and Mladost 4 clubs have already welcomed their first visitors.

At the exhibition site, visitors also had the opportunity to hear the revelations of famous Bulgarian men, recorded within the framework of the photo exhibition “Hear My Voice”, which for the third consecutive year has established itself as a symbol of broken stereotypes and proves that men can be the strongest when they accept their vulnerability. This is the third edition of the campaign, which makes the topic of men’s emotional health more accessible through art. Emprove once again drew the attention of the general public to the psyche of men in November – the month in which the global campaign #Movember is also taking place. The foundation reminds that taking care of mental health is just as important as physical health. The exhibition was held at ONE Gallery from November 1 to 18.

The men who support the cause are actor Alexander Kadiev, writer Georgi Gospodinov, director and screenwriter Iliyan Dzhevelekov, DJ and radio host Marten Roberto, actor Hovhannes Torosyan, YouTuber and director Tsvetoslav Tsonev-Tsuro, visual artist Yasen Zgurovski, also known as Julieta Intergalactica, and rapper Wosh MC.
