Have you ever tried to create a routine and go to the gym at least 2-3 times a week? But as a result, you feel more and more tired and don’t see any progress?
We’ve prepared some useful tips to help you become more consistent in your pursuit of your goals. Whether you’re trying to get in shape for summer or just want to improve your appearance, read the full article and find out…
Buy a workout outfit that you like and that gives you pleasure when you see yourself in the mirror wearing it. Now imagine how happy you’ll be when your body gets in even better shape! Whenever you start to wonder whether you should go to the gym or slack off some more, put on your leggings and you’ll feel the rush of energy. If you want to work out in the morning, it’s helpful to get your jacket ready from the night before. This is the quickest way to convince yourself that you deserve this workout!
Group classes are not only highly motivating and effective, but they also immerse you in a special atmosphere. An atmosphere where you become part of a whole with people who know what they want and work hard to achieve it. Acquaintanceships with people in the group can turn into unexpectedly pleasant new friendships. And if you’re more shy, you can always invite a friend or colleague along so you don’t feel awkward. Check out the group class schedule at Next Level gyms and reserve your spot now.
Whether you can spare a few hours at the gym, or you prefer a quick stretch and some cardio, don’t overload yourself. In the beginning, go for easy and enjoyable exercises that you can build on over time.
Think about it, 10 push-ups and 10 squats every day sounds easier and more achievable than 20 or 30, right? Listen to your body, don’t chase someone else’s achievements. The most important thing is to surpass yourself every other time, not the others in the gym.
You have no excuse here! A short walk every day is more refreshing than you think. Instead of relying on your car to even walk to the nearest store, try using public transportation or at the very least… park farther away to walk to your destination. Just 20 minutes a day. 😊
Simple carbs are broken down quickly by the body and give you an express boost of energy. Supply your body with these about 30 minutes before your workout. You’ll find them in some fruits and dairy products.
Note: Simple carbs are also found in sweets, fizzy drinks and sugar, BUT these are certainly not the foods that will help you get in shape. Avoid them!
Spotify, Soundcloud or YouTube, or maybe use another music listening app? No matter, make an uplifting playlist and listen to it during your walks and workouts. Music always boosts your mood and is a good motivator on the road to success.
